Marcin gave a wonderful and accurate tour with respect for the subject. I am a professional historian and my guests, who knew little of the subject, left wanting to learn more. With my profession it is hard to impress me, this was an impressive and professional tour. He was engaging and appropriate. One of the best tours I’ve ever been on and hands down and certainly the best I’ve been on in Germany.

It was a nice and sunny day for a tour in October 2022. It was a bit of a respite from an otherwise grim trip down history lane. If you are a history buff, a woke individual, an over-all curious person, or have got 4-6hours spare in your day, I would highly recommend this tour while in Munich. Marcin, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable about Dachau. He told very interesting and moving stories about the concentration camp, now turned into a Memorial and emphasised really well not what the camp was, but what it is now and the positive message that the camp wants to leave us. It's amazing that Germany, as a society, are very much accountable to the horrors of their past and are not afraid to discuss it with people and have historical tours and memorials about it in order to honour the dead and the survivors, and prevent history from repeating itself. After all, those who don't know history are bound to repeat it. The day trip was quite moving. We met him near the Ludwig Shopping building in Marienplatz and took us to a train and a bus ride to get to Dachau. The train and bus ride was included in your payment so all you need to do is follow him. He also lead us back to Marienplatz after the tour. It was an eye-opening day. Would recommend.

A group of us joined the free walking tour of Munich
It's a 3 hour walking tour which ended up finishing after 3.5 hours.
Marcin is a very knowledgeable, friendly guide. He presents himself well, speaks clearly to a large crowd, and is also entertaining.
I would definitely recommend this tour!
The only feedback I'd give is to have a short toilet break in the middle.

I was on the free city walking tour with Marcin and it was fantastic. The information was unique and memorable, and there was great camaraderie with the group. I get the feeling that these guys spend a chunk of their free time researching obscure written and oral history of Munich and Bavaria. With beer.

Had 'Marcin' as our guide for Munich and then Dachau Concentration Camp. He was extremely knowledgeable and you could tell that he loved to learn and teach.

This was the best city tour we have ever been on, and told the history of the city from its intial village to the city it is today. So many awesome stories. Macin also pointed out numerous places throughout the city we should visit for food and drinks.

Our tour guide, Adam, was very engaging throughout the Dachau Memorial tour.
Throughout entire tour, he was very mindful of his tone, and continued to focus on the victims involved rather than on the perpetrators. He was very knowledgeable, not only about this concentration camp, but he could also answer all the questions the group had about other concentration camps.
He seemed very emotionally tuned in, and even though he has been giving these Dachau tours for 8.5 years, he still gives off an empathetic tone throughout the tour.
At the end, you're given the time to have a look around by yourself, and reflect on what you have seen if you need to.
Delivering this tour has to be difficult, but Adam did so in a way that we will keep with us for life.
