This has been my worst experience ever working with a travel company. Do anything you can do not to work with them. I was organizing an international trip. I was misquoted $500 for 16 tickets. Then got that surprise the day they tickets were due. Next, the airline 'couldn't' accept my credit card, even though they charged it. The amount as later reversed, then AAA wrote a check to cover. Next AAA charged my card, but couldn't get it to work. So, I then had to wire them the money and eat an additional $35 fee. Go anywhere but here for your travel needs.

The price point was o.k. for the trip we took to Waikiki. The view from our room was phenomenal and totally more then we expected! There were several things that came up that shouldn’t have as “first time” users of AAA travel agency for booking a trip like this expense; (Hotel fees; were not explained to us how they work only that we had that as an added expense) especially, since we didn’t even negotiate price. Learning, we found out it actually included; beach umbrella, towels, SPF lotion, 2 gift water bottles, 2 gift shopping bags) Having not known that we spent $50 a day renting a beach umbrella & chairs for a week, purchased 2 beach towels, (which we left behind),SPF lotion, 2 water bottles, and a huge shopping bag.

Being that most of my career as a Designer I gave my clients as many “heads up” details as possible verbally as well as in writing so as to waylay any questions and or concerns that may arise with their upcoming project. How much more that kind of detailed customer experience is necessary when dealing with clients heading out for vacation?

We went again for our honeymoon in May 2024! We flew for free on Hawaiian Airlines and stayed a few blocks back off of the beach for 8 days for $1250.00 at a hotel that was nice, clean, and friendly,
Yeah, it didn’t have the view, wasn’t on the beach, but, triple A could never do what I did!

I've been a AAA member since 2011. I've always had a pleasant experience with customer service but that ended today. To buy foreign currency from AAA, one must pay in cash and in person. The AAA store is open 9-5 M-F. When I spoke to customer service on the phone the day prior, I was told "come in anytime!"

I took time off work and drove to my nearest AAA and was told the only person who could process currency exchange is in the back busy with someone- I asked how long will the wait be?
No idea.. they are short staffed. I told the gentleman who greeted me that I'm working and I cannot come back this afternoon. So I waited. Eventually the person in the back came out & I was assisted by someone who was so irritated that I disrupted her day. I felt it by her demeanor- no hello, no smile, she sighed, no thank you. After processing my request, as I was signing the order, I made sure to say thank you to her for helping me- she did not respond.

As I was leaving I asked her if she could please dispose of the envelope I had my cash in- she looked at me like I asked her for something so unimaginable- So I asked "do you have a trash can behind you?" she responded No.
Ok, I picked up the envelope and walked out. Not the culture I expected.

AAA Travel Stores offer passport photo services. Photos conform to US Passport Services' requirements – 2 inches x 2 inches and includes a set of two (2) photos.

A travel agency? Really? I had an appointment with a travel agent in this agency to prepare a trip I want to make. When I entered the agency the guy said he had no appointment.... but checking his calendar he found the appointment!!! Of course he had prepared nothing about the questions I had asked him on the phone when scheduling the appointment. He really looked unprofessional. He sent me an email a few days later, because I had fixed him a deadline, but no interesting information. Nothing precise. I replied to his email in order to get more details. The only email I received from him was to ask me about my age !!!!! Since then, no news and we are one month later! I thought AAA was a good travel agency. Issaquah is not for sure.

Great service. Stopped by for international driving license today. Took 5 mins to take pictures and issue the license. Didn’t expect it to be that soon and quick.
