Darren & his crew were fantastic. Darren was great pilot and very knowledgeable of the landscape. The flight and views accompanied with it were marvelous. Oregon is such a pretty place especially from a balloon and the people are friendly people as well. I would recommend it to anyone who has never done a hot air balloon before to come to Oregon and take a ride at Big Sky Balloon Company.

Darren and Garret are a great team and easy to work with. Both gentlemen are friendly, fun, and professional. I booked the trip as a surprise for my husband as an anniversary gift. He was a little nervous at first but once we got there and started our adventure he really enjoyed the flight and so did I! Could not be more happy with our experience, it exceeded our expectations.

Ever since I was a little girl I’ve wished for the opportunity to fly in a hot air balloon! Finally at 31 years old the Big Sky Balloon Co. (And my wonderful, thoughtful husband ?) made my dream come true!! They are highly skilled, knowledgeable and kept my anxieties at ease! I felt SO safe the entire time! It was such a cool experience watching them work and seeing all the effort they put into the fine details making the flight safe and interesting. Definitely recommend, especially Darren and his operation! I never realized what an “art” it was to be a balloon pilot and Darren’s experience shows!
Both he and his apprentice Garret were very personable. The entire time we were in the air it was not only beautiful to see the world from above but also so very peaceful. Great experience start to finish! Absolutely worth it! I can’t wait til we make another flight!

Pilot Darren and Chaser Garret were so much fun! They were knowledgeable, helpful and accommodating. Our group of 6 (mature) ladies were celebrating a 70th birthday and would recommend Big Sky Balloon Co to kids of all ages! Well worth it!

My husband and I had a blast with Darren (our pilot) and ground crewman Mr Pinkerton 🙂 We even had breakfast with fellow passengers afterwards. The flight was lovely, Darren knows his landscape of the area he flies and his ground crewman was delightful. Keep doing top notch - we will be back. Let’s land in a different field next time though. Lol!

Spectacular experience! Awesome crew! We felt very safe, the ride was so peaceful, I highly recommend this experience to all humans!
