My group used KB Tours for our transportation while in DC for 5 days. I don’t have one complaint. We had the same driver except for one day. Both drivers were friendly and professional. They were professionally dressed and accommodating. They were early picking us up each day and safely transported us around. The buses were comfortable, spacious and clean. We also took the African American bus tour. It was very educational, our tour guide was very knowledgeable. It was really fun and great to see all of the sights. The Lincoln Memorial, the Vietnam Wall and statues, the Martin Luther King Jr. Monument and the site of Dr. King’s “I have a dream” speech, etc. I recommend using KB Tours

I cannot recommend KB Tours enough! The tour provided so much insight and knowledge about the sights, neighborhoods, DC and black history. Kenny knows his stuff, provides great knowledge and anecdotes while being incredibly interactive and accommodating. I will be recommending his daily tour to any family or friend visiting DC!

Great tour! You get picked up in a very nice Mercedes Van with AC, Kenny takes you around, gives you history and also let’s you get out at a few places to take pics like Lincoln and MLK Memorial. We ended the tour with tickets to the African American Museum which was amazing!

Mr. Kenny is a great tour guide. He tells you the history of the area, and weaves in the Black history of everything he shows you. We went on the tour while there was major road closures for an event, and Mr. Kenny still got us where we needed to go. This tour is unique because you go through historically Black neighborhoods that most tours don’t take you to. I definitely recommend supporting this Black owned business.

A little late in this review, we went in May 2023. But, overall this was a great experience and the tour was completed even though it was two of us present. I thought it was going to be cancelled but glad it was still on. Had a more personalized night tour of Washington DC and even received a brief church sermon while at dinner that has had a positive impact to our lives even to today.

A great tour that gave such a beautiful and storied education of the city, its neighborhoods, and black history. Very engaging with just a great wealth of knowledge of historical black figures who are often, not forgotten, but left out of conversations. Thank you for a brilliant tour!!!

Customer service is everything! We booked this tour and mistakenly missed the date that we booked after a long travel in from another state late the night before. It was an honest error and the owner/tour guided called 10 mins after our scheduled departure time. We were the only group of 12 people scheduled for that day. We profusely apologized for missing it and for any inconvenience we caused. He was willing to allow us to go the next day along with a a few other people, but he could only accommodate 11 of us. Our group appreciated him being willing to work with us as we understand that he didn't have to do that. Our group also offered other solutions to not inconvenience him any further. We both agreed to 11 out of 12 people attending the next day and we also paid an extra $43 for the museum tickets since he had to buy tickets for the next day because we didn't go the previous day as scheduled. The issue is that he continued to talk about the mistake and treat our group rudely during the tour. If he was not ok with the change, he shouldn't have agreed. Eventhough we made a mistake and missed the original date, we were still paying customers and should have been treated with respect. We continued to apologize while on the tour and he kept bringing up the mistake. Just feel like that is not good customer service. Beware that if you decide to book this tour that you can't make a mistake without hearing about it and being treated rudely after he agrees to meet you half way (his words)and work with you. Due to the nature of travel and unexpected challenges, I would not recommend this tour.
