The stories James told us was so interesting. I do ghost hunting on the side and this was an awesome tour. Highly recommend the tour and ask for tour guide James. He was wonderful!!

We had a good time. Learning about the history of south beach with a twist of ghost stories made our night fun. We had the EMF detectors (would recommend). There are some hot spots down there. The only downside was waiting 45 minutes for another people arrive at the meeting point.

Our group of 6 people were all very excited and looking forward to this tour based off of the good reviews, but left extremely disappointed. Our tour guide started off by telling us we “ruined his studying plans, no one should have booked this day because we should be either hungover or spending time with family.” The email gave detailed instructions to find the tour guide “coast side” and “holding a lantern.” Neither of these were correct. The tour guide told us the lantern “has been lost for years now” and he was found on the street side on his phone tucked away in the corner. Our group walked around for 15 minutes trying to find him. A couple showed up late to the tour because they were also looking for someone holding a lantern and the tour guide just laughed it off reiterating the “lantern was lost”, as if any of us were supposed to have known that. Our first stop, the tour guide couldn’t remember the name of the place and stated, “I haven’t done this in 2 weeks, I forgot, moving on.” Each place had the exact same “hauntings” and the tour guide kept writing things off and saying “because it’s just Miami.” All 6 members of our group paid extra for the “extended tour” and halfway through, the tour guide told us “I was excited I’d be getting home at 9pm, but I just remembered you all bought the extended tour and I won’t be getting home until later.” Overall, our group ended the tour dissatisfied and shocked that there were so many good reviews. Maybe we came on a bad day, but we felt it was an expensive waste of money.

Thomas was very understanding when I was distracted and had questions about a specific area. He shared experiences as well did my daughter who is actually not a talkative person but keeps to herself which was unusual but at specific locations of the tour she opened. When in the presence of a connection he gave guidance and was not judgemental when my daughter shared her abilities of telepathic as well as my sense and reasoning abilities. We wanted to try this tour for our first time and see if she could handle our hometown. She really enjoyed but a cleanse will have to begin with and end with the tours. Also, Thomas was the only person on this trip who actually knew what activities to do. I could not get any help from my booking agent Expedia or my place of stay. I wasted 2 days. He needs to be available for all trip advice sites. Thanks, Thomas!!!!

This is a great thing to do in Miami Beach if you’re not really into the club scene.

Our guide Rob was a great storyteller who kept everything fun and entertaining, and he made himself heard over the loud Miami night clubs.

This is an anonymous account, but this review was for a tour with our guide, Thomas, doing the haunted Miami tour.

To begin, the tour guides instructions were quite unclear and didn’t even provide valuable parking information. The instructions of where to meet were clear though, as he was quite easy to find. However, not to jump ahead, but the tour ends at about a 5-10 minute walk from the beginning. Not a huge thing, but for those who may have had a long day, that can be a huge inconvenience. For our group, not a big deal.

To start our “tour” and introduction to Thomas, he told a “joke”. This joke basically equated to him making fun of three little girls heading to the TS concert in town this week. He then proceeded to say “I’m a terrible person” and boy did he live up to that.

The “EMF Readers” that we paid an extra $15 for were nowhere to be found. So that was a great time.

The areas we stopped at were cool Miami Beach landmarks, but over the entire hour long tour, he spent maybe 10 minutes speaking about anything related to “haunting” or scary. Instead, the tour was filled with basic facts relating to each building, which when fact checking in real time was found to be either misleading or just an outright a lie. More than that, he spoke about his “personal experiences” with a mermaid, which sounded like it came from a Tumblr fan fiction post.

What made the tour absolutely unacceptable were the following issues:
1. Thomas made an extremely inappropriate comment towards one of our group members, whose shirt had slightly come up during a big breeze. He decided to make this comment by completely stopping his point, acknowledging what happened, then making the “joke”. This made them completely uncomfortable for the entirety of the night.
2. During the tour, after every woman passed our group, Thomas made it extremely obvious that he was looking at their rears, which is an unprofessional and disgusting thing to do.
3. Thomas decided to go on a tangent that sounded like an unhinged Facebook conspiracy, implying that most if not all of the influential people of our time were secretly Jewish or of Jewish descent. An absolutely inappropriate comment, which had no reasoning for being said, and almost caused me to walk off of the tour.

Overall, this tour was not what we expected at all, and we would’ve had a much more enjoyable experience having walked the tour without a guide. I never want to be this harsh, but we have never felt like we wasted $250 in a worse manner than selecting a tour with this group. One of Our members has emailed the support email, and we hope to have a reply soon.
