When I called to make the reservation Sarah picked up and as soon as I was talking to her I new I wanted to do this. Sarah walked me through the tour so that I knew what to expect. This was the experience of a life time! What a great day with a staff that was exceptional in every way. I was scared to do it however Julia made sure to make me comfortable and her encouragement made me feel that I could. She was very patient and guided me all the way. Everyone on their team were very welcoming. JULIA..you are a ROCKSTAR!!! YOU made this an incredible experience that I will never forget.

What an incredible, once in a lifetime experience! This tour exceeded all of our expectations - it will forever be one of our very favorite memories. Every single member of the staff was super friendly, knowledgeable and obviously cares about the dogs immensely (they’re SO cute!). You’ll absolutely regret not booking this excursion and you HAVE to spend the extra money for their photo package. Trust me.

WOW! This was one of the best experiences of our lives!!! I cannot put into words how unbelievably magical our day was. We celebrated our 10 yr old's birthday the day of our tour and Snow Buddies made the day extra special for him. My husband and I drove one team with our daughter in the "bag" (as the wonderful guide Nicole guided us by radioing in to our daughter!) and our 10! and 11 yr old sons drove the other team with their AMAZING guide, Don. I was nervous but didn't need to be. This operation is so well run I felt safe and prepared every moment. We journeyed up a mountain with our 10 dogs per team for this 10 mile trek- the dogs are so smart and sweet and I just felt like I was inside National Geographic. Or maybe a piece of Heaven! Our kids all loved it and our 11 yr old wants to be a guide one day now. We plan to start saving to go again maybe even next year. HIGHLY recommend!!! And GET THE PHOTO PACKAGE!!! The pictures are stunning. Sarah and Dan and family made us feel like family. Guides Julia and Ben were also there to help and were so encouraging. BUCKET LIST MUST-DO! Worth every penny!

If I could give more stars to Sarah, her amazing crew and, last but not least, her dogs, I would and they deserve it. From the booking, to accommodating our family last minute and picking us up (my husband wanted to drive there but we’re from Florida and have no clue about driving in snowy conditions, didn’t want to miss our excursion by driving into a ditch or getting lost, so the day before our excursion we requested a shuttle pick up and Sarah accommodated us with no hesitations). On our ride there she was so informative about her business and the area so I am glad we didn’t drive ourselves as we learned so much! Once we arrived to camp the experience of a lifetime began! It cannot be described, you have to live it as no words or pictures do it justice!! The dogs are all so well behaved, friendly and adorable. Her crew is patient, friendly and so helpful. Felicity had my two teenage boys and was so patient with them. Ben was super informative and so nice! It was excellent in every sense! Can’t wait to be back next year! Thank you Sarah and your snow buddies for the best excursion!!

Breathtaking beauty all around. The forest, the dogs, the handlers, all just magical. Never in our wildest dreams did we expect such hands on mushing. Ryan, our dog whisperer was fabulous. He made us feel at ease and in full control of our adventure. I highly HIGHLY encourage everyone to experience the joy, the knowledge, the wonder of dogsledding.

Amazing experience scratched off my bucket list and we could not have a more amazing guide/tour! We drove all the way from Houston, Texas to experience dog sledding and it was everything plus more that we could ever imagine! The drive itself from Silverthorne to the designated location was amazing and breath taking. We were well prepared thanks to the amazing instructions the organization prepared for us prior to heading out. Once we arrived to the location, we were greeted by the friendly tour guides and doggies. They had a warm tent set up for us to hang out at while they got everything ready for us. Sarah went over rules and instructions; she really made us feel welcomed. After we properly got suited up, we went outside where we were assigned our tour guide. Ben was amazing in guiding us. We got to meet each of the doggies on our team and hear about how they ended up being a Snow Buddy. After being taught how to harvest the doggies, we were taught how to drive the sled and we were ready to mush. The ride was beyond spectacular! I defiantly recommend to book with Snow Buddy Dog Sled Tours! Also, the photo package is so worth it!
