I had the pleasure of organizing the first Black Girls Do Bike International trip. 18 ladies from Richmond, VA; New York City; Raleigh-Durham, NC and Chicago, IL travelled with our group to Puglia. The trip was magnificent and exceeded our expectations! We were blown away by the level of detail in the planning and execution that we received from Tourissimo. All we had to do was show up with our helmets and gloves. Everything was top notch and we felt safe and supported the entire time! Our guides were amazing and they were with us every step of the way. Our accommodations at Masseria San Martino were phenomenal! “Connie” and her family were exceptional hosts and they treated us like queens! We felt like the accommodations were exclusive for our group.

I highly recommend Tourissimo if you are planning a group cycling tour in Italy. I’ve told my fellow BGDB Chapter leaders, and they are planning trips for their groups, and we’re also planning a return trip to a different area next year! Cheers!

May 2022 I did a 5 day mini-Tuscany cycling trip with Tourissimo. This was my first cycle trip with them; I have done two of their hiking tours because my partner doesn't bike. This trip was very well organized as I come to expect. I knew my guides from previous trips. During the pre-trip planning I discussed road bike vs e-bike with Heather. Knowing my abilities I would be comfortable with either but it was acknowledged I would enjoy the trip especially the climbs up the Tuscan hills much more with an e-bike. Best guidance ever!
We had two opportunities to try the gravel roads which I braved but decided I really like road cycling best.
The hotels and food were terrific as usual. There were appropriate breaks along the way to experience the culture and towns we visited.
I need to plan another trip!

Tourissimo created a custom designed week-long cycling trip through the Piedmont region of Italy. They knocked the trip out of the park creating an amazing experience for myself and my group of friends. A week of gorgeous cycling and wining and dining through the vineyards in Piedmont. We enjoyed amazing food experiences as Tourissimo found the out of the way restaurants and cafes that provided wonderful dining experiences. And of course: wine. Just amazing wines, stops at vineyards for tastings, and wines with every meal. The guides on our trip were incredibly knowledgeable and experienced both at knowing the area, the history of the places we visited, and designing and leading the cycling routes getting us all safely through the cities and countrysides. I cannot recommend Tourissimo enough. This was my second custom cycling trip with them and I could only wish they were present in all the countries that I would like to go cycling through!

This was my wife's and my first experience with Tourissimo. I have to say it was probably the best experience we had while in Italy. The logistics were spot on, the routes and itineraries were amazing as we were able to see some incredible places but also get some behind the scenes tours. Our guides Dario and Gionata were such great hosts, guides and so fun to hang with. We so enjoyed our time with them on this tour. I would highly recommend Tourissima for anyone wanting to ride the roads of Italy. Also, the gear was top notch. I rode a Bianchi Road bike, and my wife had an e-assist bike. Both bikes fit us perfectly and were such a joy to ride. Take the leap into touring the Italian countryside, you will not regret it.

Our trip through the Dolomites was our third trip with Tourissimo. Like the first two, we loved everything about it. Thanks to excellent guides, we cycled, ate, and slept well all week. We really appreciate Tourissimo’s attention to detail; the trip was well-scouted in advance and tailored to our interests and abilities. We loved the “extras” (e.g., city walking tours). It’s hard to imagine what else they could do to make the trip better (even though the weather was perfect!)

We have been on multiple trips with Tourissimo, with Beppe (on trips prior to he and Heather starting their own business) and multiple other guides with Tourissimo. They have all been amazing and wonderful. Really the world is your oyster with them. They are accommodating and interested in what will be a good fit and provide the best experience for each person/group. They have premade trips, private trips, beautiful houses that will accomodate whatever anyone wants!!! Cant recommend them enough. Get out there, ride, eat, drink and enjoy Italy and other great places.

Such an amazing week with Tourissimo in Provence, France. Heather and the bike guides, Alessandro, Federica, and Vanessa made sure our group of Peloton Road Riders’ experience was memorable. We biked on beautiful scenic routes, ate at delicious restaurants, wonderful excursions and even a bit of shopping in Malaucene and St. Remy. Looking forward to our next bike trip.
