Die Kajak Tour auf der alten Donau war einfach Spitze. James erzählt viele interessante Dinge über Donaustadt und Wien. Gleichzeitig kommen auch etwas Bewegung und sehr viel Spass nicht zu kurz.
Absolut empfehlenswert für Alt und Jung! Wir werden bestimmt wieder einmal ein Abenteuer mit James buchen!

Im Rahmen unseres Mitarbeiterausfluges haben wir am Wochenende, mit 17 Personen, eine Kajak Tour auf der alten Donau mit Nicola und James gebucht. Da das Wetter um die gebuchte Zeit nicht so schön war, hat uns James angeboten, den Termin etwas nach hinten zu verschieben da die Prognosen für Mittags besser waren. Dies war natürlich nur möglich da die Beiden an dem Tag zwischen den Touren Zeit hatten. Wir waren darüber sehr froh, so konnten wir bei schönem Wetter auf der Donau paddeln. Nicola hat uns sehr viel Interessantes über Wien und die Donau erzählt, während James für unsere Gruppe Fotos gemacht hat. Beide waren sehr nett und super sympathisch.
Die Kajak Tour bei Venture Vienna kann ich nur weiter empfehlen!!! Wir hatten alle sehr viel Spaß!!!

Die Tour mit Guide James war super schön. Er hat abwechselnd auf Englisch und Deutsch gesprochen, da wir eine internationale Gruppe waren. Sehr kompetenter Guide mit coolen und interessanten Fakten zur Donau und Wien. Auch weitere Empfehlungen gibt er sehr gerne. Sonne, Wasser, schöne Aussichten, gute Gesellschaft. Was will man mehr?!

My girlfriend and I recently had the pleasure of joining an incredible kayak tour on the Danube River in Austria, and I can honestly say it was one of the most memorable experiences we've ever had. The combination of stunning natural beauty, delightful wine tasting, and delicious food made it an adventure to remember.

Our tour guide, James, was absolutely brilliant. He picked us up from our hotel and dropped us off afterward, right on schedule, which made everything so convenient. James shared fascinating stories about the history and culture of the Wachau region, renowned as the prime wine-producing area in Austria. We got to sample some exquisite local wines that perfectly complemented the picturesque surroundings. He also took plenty of pictures of us throughout the day, making the experience even more memorable, all while ensuring we were safe and comfortable on the water.

The food served was equally delightful—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The breathtaking views of the Danube and the serene atmosphere made the experience even more special.

This kayak tour was simply fantastic. It’s the perfect mix of adventure, relaxation, and indulgence. If you’re looking for a unique way to explore the Danube and enjoy some top-notch food and wine, I highly recommend this tour. James and his team truly know how to create an unforgettable experience!

This was a real “will I, won’t I” moment, as I hadn’t really planned to do anything (afternoon flight out of Vienna) - but I am so happy that I decided to book a spot on the guided kayak, firstly..Vienna is simply gorgeous but seeing it from a different perspective just adds to the impressions you get of the city, secondly, having a guide that actually knows a thing or two most certainly adds to the experience (and James has that in spades) from the architecture, walks, restaurants through to wine (and he’s a great guy as well).
And in the process you get a pretty good workout on the water - overall, this is a must when you’re next in Vienna - you’ll love it (and James caters for all abilities).

I surprised my girlfriend with this kayaking and wine tasting tour and what an unbelievable way to end our trip. This was her review: I personally saw a side to Austria that I had never experienced or seen and the views while kayaking were just unreal. The wines were exceptional and the tour would be fantastic for anyone from a wine expert to a complete novice. Great historical knowledge of the area and overall an exceptional guided tour. Massive big shout out to James for putting in so much effort in making this an unforgettable experience for us.

We did the kayaking tour with James with a couple of our friends and it was awesome! Definitely one of the highlights of our trip.

James was super friendly and made everyone feel right at home. He shared tons of interesting facts about the area and had some great tips for kayaking.

He really knows his stuff and gave us some great recommendations for local spots to check out, too. We would love to do his local wine tours next.

Overall, it was a really fun and unconventional way to find out more about Vienna and do something great outdoors. If you're thinking about it, definitely go for it. Five stars!
