I stayed at this property in January 2025 and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. Here are some key points to consider:
1. (FYI - have nothing to do with the property)Transportation Issues: Make sure to check the ferry schedule in advance, as missing it can cause significant delays and inconvenience.
2. Connectivity Challenges: The cellphone network in the area is poor, and while WiFi is available, it’s not complimentary. You’re required to pay for a 10-day plan, which is inconvenient if your stay is shorter (mine was only 3 days).
3. Heating Problems: The heating system was poorly maintained. During the cold January weather, the heater made loud noises throughout the night and didn’t function properly, leaving the room uncomfortably cold.
4. Unhygienic Facilities: The hot tub was not cleaned adequately, which raised concerns about hygiene and the potential for skin infections.
5. Lack of Services: This is not a hotel, so don’t expect any kind of service or assistance during your stay.

At $130 per night, I expected a much better experience. Unfortunately, the lack of proper amenities and maintenance meant I couldn’t enjoy my time. I wouldn’t recommend this place unless significant improvements are made.

I recently stayed at WorldMark Deer Harbor and had a fantastic experience. The resort exceeded my expectations with its beautiful views and well-maintained grounds. The room was spotless and comfortable, offering all the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay. The hospitality was top-notch, with the staff being both friendly and attentive. Overall, a great place to unwind and enjoy nature. I highly recommend it and look forward to returning!

Everywhere on Orcas Island is magical.

The only slight downfall is that the rooms appear to need a bit refreshing... however, the hottub on the patio is an amazing way to end the day!

It is a bit of a trek to get to "downtown" where all the restaurants & bars are, so having a car is highly recommended unless you come by boat.

Booked the Penthouse Suite for 2 nights, called ahead to check on arrival time but was curtly told by front desk agent Alexis that they didn't know how I booked it and not available, no alternate accommodations offered. Most hotels would offer to "walk" to a competitor but that was not offered either. Poor outcome during a busy holiday season. Bad business to leave our family in a lurch on a remote island with no recourse.

Room was very clean but the hot tub needed a little attention, and the bed in room 109 needs to be replaced but besides that it was a lovely place to stay with nice staff!

Yikes - what a disappointment. I booked a room through my credit card travel site with points, and after traveling for 12 hours including a ferry ride and arriving at 9pm we were told they didn't have space for us and that because this was a timeshare the owners had "first dibs". What a dumb system, don't allow people to rent these spaces if they can just be swooped out from under you day of. I'm only giving 2 stars because they did book us a room at another hotel, but that hotel was on the other side of the island and was a significant downgrade from what we had booked at Deer Harbor. Also beware of Rosario Resort & Spa, we had bugs in our bathroom and 99% of the services at the "resort & spa" were not available.

I have never had an experience like I did here. The front desk is extremely helpful and kind. The rooms have a comfortable bed, cable, and the best showers. The hot tub topped off the vibe. It is quiet and the views are magical. If you need any supplies, there is a little market on the marina that serves food and espresso too. Oh also check out the pizza place next door! It is the best we have ever had. On our last night the manager/owner came by to check in and dropped off some chocolate!

Super tiny rooms. Ridiculously small for the price of a one bedroom. We have had much better accommodations elsewhere.
